Short Bio

Guang Jiang is an associate professor in the School of Telecommunications Engineering at Xidian University at Xian.  He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in 1993, 1998 and 2003, respectively all from Xidian University. He had ever worked in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Xian Research Institute of Navigation Technique. Currently, his main research areas include image processing and computer vision. His main research goals are to develop approaches to analyze, understand and code the images or videos of real-world objects and scenes based on vision geometry. Dr. Jiang is a member of IEEE. He serves as a reviewer for journals of the IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, Internal Journal of Computer Vision, Image and Vision Computing, Machine Vision and Application etc. and main conferences in computer vision.
